Following on from his fantastic EP on the label in February, Italian Alessio Pagliaroli is back with more of his colourful tech house, this time with a remix from Japanese talent Kuniyuki Takahashi. Pagliaroli is an Italian DJ and producer based in Sabaudia on the West coast of the country. Since 2013 he has established himself with quality offerings on labels like Moodmusic, Exploited and Upon You Records.
Making his debut on Get Physical, he showcased his dramatic and theatrical style in all its compelling glory and now serves up more dance floor ready freshness. His excellent original ‘Grace’ is a deeply absorbing track that truly hypnotises over more than eight minutes. The warm drums roll on as a subtle synth sequence grows louder in the mix and eventually takes the lead, carrying you away into the cosmos. Once it fully explodes into life, it will electrify the whole club without doubt.
Kuniyuki Takahashi is a Japanese producer and long-time Mule Musiq associate. His future jazz tinged deep house is sumptuous indeed. Here he brilliantly flips the track into a freak after-hours number with occult synths and curious bits of sound design colouring the elongated grooves. It’s wild and unpredictable and destined to inject arresting weirdness to any set. Last of all, Pagliaroli cleverly remixes the remix into something that sits in between the two previous versions. It stays low and deep, but has plenty of colourful sonic explosions through so as to keep you on edge. Once again then Pagliaroli serves up more of his slick and seductive house music.
