Sara Simonit

Sara Simonit, class of ’88, was born and raised in a small city outside of Venice, Italay. Whilst growing up in an artistic and musically oriented family, she attended an Art Academy at the age of 14. At this young age, she began discovering her passion for techno music.

After moving to Milan in 2007 in pursuit of a modeling career, and, after working for many of the finest brands and clients, Sara then moved to Dubai in 2009. Upon her first experience outside of Italy, Sara saw a niche in the market and began to create a career out of her passion for music and DJing in the Middle East.

In 2010, Sara began performing in many clubs and lounges both in Dubai and with gigs in Oman, Bahrain and Qatar. In a short time, she was already playing gigs for luxury brands, and Formula 1. Her selection and ability to read the crowd grew, and expanded her fan base leading to bookings in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bali. The need to explore and look for new opportunities brought Sara to live between Dubai and Ibiza, expanding her DJ career further into Europe, with new gigs in Spain, France, Italy and the UK.

Since 2015, Sara began producing her own music, releasing her first EP on BluFin Records in 2016 with Beat Therapy Records.

At the start of 2017, she started to frequent different clubs and events such as The Egg, Ministry of Sound, Cuckoo Club, Be Crazy Ibiza, expanding her horizons in the London club-scene. With gigs such as Sankeys and B12 in Ibiza, No Club in Paris, doors were opened to her in the USA, with debut performances at Envie Club, Miami, Output, TBA and Jia Lounge in NewYork city.

Having recently made London her new home, Sara now plays regularly for the long-running Familia party, spinning alongside the likes of Sam Paganini, Ilario Alicante and Layton Giordani to name a few. She continues to dedicate time on her production, and has signed a few new tracks with some big labels in the techno world, that will release after the summer . The best is yet to come
