UK house stalwart Nick Warren delivers his latest single, La Fabrica, in November via Bristol’s Hope Recordings.
Featuring remixes from Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile, Yoram and Santiago Teillagorry & Luis Bondido as well as a video from Tim Davison and Mark Sun, ‘La Fabrica’ is a weighty package for fans of melodic, emotive house music.
Warren’s original mix is centred around a fractured arpeggiated bassline which is augmented with washing atmospheres and an unhurried atmosphere, evoking the glory days of progressive house a la Guerilla while staying firmly in present times.
Argentinian duo Hernan Cattaneo (a long term friend of Warren) and Soundexile focus on gossamer melodies in their brittle yet beautiful late-night interpretation while Warren’s ‘club’ mix adds weight, grit and heady effects.
Dutch artist Yoram heads to the filterbanks with his dense and textured mix before Luis Bondido and Santiago Teillagorry close the package with a rhythmic and moody version of Nick’s ‘Buenos Aires’ cut…
